The main duties of the China Chamber of International Commerce are to promote Sino-foreign economic and trade exchanges and cooperation, to represent the interests of the Chinese business community to international organizations and Chinese and foreign government departments, to participate in the formulation and promotion of international economic and trade rules, and to actively advocate social responsibility and public welfare undertakings in the business community. Members of the International Chamber of Commerce can more directly participate in exhibitions held at home and abroad, explore domestic and foreign markets, more direct access to international trade and investment information, domestic and foreign laws and regulations policy interpretation, market analysis reports, etc. Up to now, the number of members of the China Chamber of International Commerce has reached 351,000. Among them are the vast majority of central enterprises, national financial institutions and a large number of well-known private enterprises and foreign-funded enterprises. The China Chamber of International Commerce has become the foreign-related chamber organization with the largest number of members and the largest international influence in China.
