Physical and chemical properties
Orange yellow powder at room temperature, with camphor smell. Melting point 172℃-174℃, boiling point 249℃, sublimation above 100℃, density 1.490g/cm³, refractive index 1.4465 (20℃); Insoluble in water, easily soluble in benzene, ether, gasoline, diesel and other organic solvents. It does not interact with acids, alkalis and ultraviolet rays, has stable chemical properties, and does not decompose within 400℃. It is not suitable for catalytic hydrogenation, nor does it react as Diels-Alder, but it can react with electrophiles to form substituted derivatives of ferrocene, and can also react with Fourier acylation and alkylation, lithium reaction and reduction reaction.

Product features
Under normal environment, chemical properties are stable, not decomposed within 400 ℃, decomposition occurs when higher than 400 ℃, and the release of pungent smoke; Not sensitive to air and moisture, not easy to react with acids or bases, but more sensitive to oxidants; Inhalation or contact with skin should be avoided, as prolonged exposure can cause liver damage.

Product use
1) Ferrocene can be used as an energy-saving smoke suppressant and antiriot agent for fuel.
2) Can also be used to make synthetic ammonia catalyst, rubber curing agent.
3) It can replace the toxic tetraethylene lead in gasoline as an antiriot agent to prepare high-grade unleaded gasoline.
4) Used as radiation absorber, heat stabilizer, light stabilizer and smoke inhibitor. -
